I'm watching Fringe's season 2 episode 11 and whut, whut, WHUT? )

I was halfway through episode 13 of Fringe and I was seriously thinking of switching over to an old episode of Glee. I am a little bit sick (literally) of liquid brains, gigantic common colds and opened heads (though that's not a problem over at Heroes, hmmm).

I was just barely hanging on for Nimoy, because I know when he finally shows up, the ensuing espontaneous combustion (of pleasure) I'll have will make it all worth while.

And then the episode turned and became awesome.

Seriously, the things I do for JJ and Nimoy...

In one of my Portugal weekends, late at night I had caught the first episode of Fringe. I couldn't see till the end, so I asked my sister to get the full season. She did, and before passing it on, she started seeing it herself. Soon enough she told me knowingly "I know why you told me to get Fringe. It's from JJ Abrams." I shrugged. It's not really something I'm ashamed of. I also told her there was a bonus Star Trek reference. :D

Last week I finally saw the full first episode. Meh. The first part is interesting, but by the second I was losing steam and interest. I called my sister and begged "Tell me the episodes pick up. Tell me they're interesting." "Well," she replied "They kind of are. And Nimoy plays a small but important role." Something pinged in my brain. "Oh. My. God. spoilery spoiler )." I screeched. "I. AM. SO. EXCITED." And then I went forth and started seeing the episodes.

As for Heroes I'm still getting the episodes, although I'm in no hurry to see them, so obtaining them has been slow. I think I'm 2 episodes behind. Eventually this holidays, I'll probably break down and see them all, because the predicted amount of FAIL, idiotic scripts and Sylar goodness (and badness) always pulls me back, if only to point and laugh. It's what I did last season: stopped watching after the first few episodes and one weekend gobbled them all up at once.

As usual Glee is filling me with glee (dancing around my place has become a frequent occurrence) and The Big Bang Theory still provides the best laughs, plus intelligent, geeky comedy.
